THE SCEIRINE RANCH

Ken's Sporting Goods is the exclusive booking agent for Todd and Ally Sceirine and the Sceirine Ranch. The Sceirine Ranch is nestled at the base of the Sweetwater Mountains at an elevation of 5,800 feet and is a 4th generation working cattle ranch. 2 1/2 miles of the East Walker River run through the ranch and this section of river is loaded with beautiful rainbow and brown trout. The ranch is located 11 miles North of Bridgeport, California on Hwy 182 and 28 miles South of Wellington, Nevada on Hwy 338. The ranch is strictly "Catch and Release" fly fishing with barbless hooks and is limited to just 4 anglers per day, this helps the fishery maintain its trophy quality angling for your return trips!

Since the Sceirine  Ranch is located on the Nevada side of the river it does require a Nevada fishing license. We sell Nevada licenses here in the shop or if you'd like to purchase your license online before you arrive in Bridgeport you can do so by clicking the link below.

THE HUNEWILL RANCH

Ken's is also the exclusive booking agent for the Hunewill Pond, located on the Hunewill Ranch right here in the Bridgeport Valley. This 4 acre pond is located about 4 miles Southwest of Bridgeport on the way to Twin Lakes. It is situated on the Hunewill Guest Ranch with beautiful ranch and mountain scenery in every direction.

The pond is catch and release fly fishing only with barbless hooks. Float tubing is also required so the riparian areas around the pond are not damaged. This sounds like a mouthful, but because of these restrictions the pond is able to maintain a very large population of great fish.

Anglers are limited to 4 per day so if you're looking for some great water where you can fish without the distraction of other anglers and want to get into a bunch of wiley and hard fighting trout, this could be your place. The Hunewill Ranch has an aquaculture license for the pond and this enables anglers to fish the pond year-round with no fishing license requirements as well. The only time of the year that fishing is not allowed is when the pond is frozen over in the winter. Also, if you want to hire an experienced guide to help out on the pond you can give us a call and we can hook you up with Scott or Andrew to help you make the most of your day.

Ranch Prices:

Full Day - $105

1/2 Day - $60

Give us a call at (760) 932-7707 for reservations.
