Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes are one of the premier waters in the Bridgeport area. Well known for the huge brown trout that live there, both Upper and Lower Twin are great destinations for anglers, hikers and campers. The last two California state record brown trout were caught in Twin Lakes, the current record, from the Upper Twin weighed in at 26lbs 8oz, this fish beat out the previous record from Lower Twin by only 3 ounces! Aside from these monster browns, the Twins are also well known for great fishing for fish from 1 to 8 pounds.

The scenery in the Twin Lakes area is breathtaking, it is often referred to as the "California Alps". Whether you're looking for some great fishing, camping, hiking or just plain relaxing, this is a great place to do it all! There's plenty of campgrounds in the Twin Lakes area to choose from so don't hesitate to get started!
